Marmelete Walk

Marmelete Walk:
Time and meeting point: 09h00 /“Casa do Povo” of Marmelete (37º18’41″N 8º40’00″W).
Type of walk: This is a short walk around Marmelete. Without difficulty.
Duration: Approximately 2h (not including casual stops). It is a circular route of 6 Km.
Audience: Public in general. People without walking habits.

Time and meeting point: 08h30 /“Casa do Povo” of Marmelete (37º18’41″N 8º40’00″W)
Type of walk: It’s of de medium/high difficulty.
Duration: Approximately 4h (without stops).
The duration of the walk depends on the interest of the participants. It is a circular route of 9.6 km.
Audience: Public in general.
Route: Starts in “Casa do Povo” of Marmelete and goes to Picos and then to the famous old corks of Marmelete.

Ribeira de Seixe Walk
Ribeira de Seixe Walk;
Time and meeting point: 08h00 / Jardim de São Miguel, Rua Principal, São Miguel (37º26’00″N 8º45’14″W).
Type of walk: This walk starts in São Miguel (near Odeceixe) and it is of medium difficulty.
Duration : Approximately 5h (without stops).
The duration of the walk depends on the interest of the participants. It’s a circular route of 15 km
Audience : Public in general.
Route: This walk starts in São Miguel and goes to Zambujeira de Baixo by the riverside of Ribeira de Seixe and back by the other side of the river to São Miguel.
Points of interest: The margins of Ribeira de Seixe.

Arroio – Montinho Walk:

(**This walk can end with lunch in the snack-bar Cabe, in Foz do Besteiro).

Duration: Approximately 4h (without stops). The duration of the walk depends on the interest of the participants. It’s a circular route of 10Km.

Route: This walk starts in the village of Selão and goes to Ribeira de Montinho, passing then to the margins of Ribeira de Arroio and then back to the village of Selão.
Points of interest: The riversides of Ribeira de Montinho and Ribeira de Arroio.

08h30/ Road N266 (Portimão-Monchique) in the opposite side of the gas station in the direction of Monchique (37°12’50″N 8°32’35″W).
Type of walk: it’s of low difficulty.
Duration: The duration of the walk depends on the interest of the participants (termal baths). Coming and going takes around 1h.
Audience: Public in general.
Route: This walk goes from (37°17’18.3″N 8°29’07.5″W) and crosses the river three times.
Points of interest: All the route and the thermal waters of Fonte Santa.
Almarjão – Rua Nova Walk
Almarjão – Rua Nova Walk:

Route : This walk goes from Corgo do Vale until ao Almarjão, passes through Rua Nova ‘s village and then back to Corgo do Vale.
Points of interest: The old corks of Corte Pereiro and the landscape, and flora and fauna.
